Originally from New York, and having lived in Washington, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, Dr. Shaikh completed his doctorate at Boston University’s Advanced Standing dental program before relocating from Bangor, Maine to Florida in 2017 to be closer to family. His professional philosophy is shaped by environments that reward preparation and composure under pressure. Outside the office, when he isn’t jumping out of planes in pursuit of his wingsuit certification, he’s refining lines on the racetrack, rock climbing, or freediving Florida’s freshwater springs—pursuits that demand precision, respect for the details, and complete presence in the moment. That same discipline guides his clinical work, where every detail matters and outcomes are never left to chance.
When he slows the pace, Dr. Shaikh enjoys cooking with family and spending time at the beach with friends—a balance of focus and ease that reflects how he approaches both life and patient care.
