Dr. Abdul Shaikh was born in New York and lived in Washington, Michigan, and Pennsylvania prior to obtaining his doctorate degree at Boston University's Advanced Standing dental program. He relocated to Florida from Bangor, Maine to be closer to family. His practice philosophy emphasizes providing comfortable and stress-free dental treatment. He takes great pride in ensuring his patients are confident they are receiving care of the highest ethical and quality standard. He has experience in comprehensive treatment with a particular interest in restorative dentistry.
On the weekends he enjoys spending quality time with his niece and nephews in St Augustine if he's not at the beach fishing with his wife. He also likes helping her care for their adopted former racehorse, a thoroughbred named Blazar.
Dr. Shaikh enjoys physical training and worked as a certified personal trainer while obtaining his dental degree. His second favorite passion (just behind dentistry) is turning wrenches in his garage.
He looks forward to many years of providing dental care as a valued member of Florida's healthcare community.
Jackie has been with Premier Dentistry since 2014. She started her career in the dental field in 2006 as a Dental Assistant, then obtained her degree in Dental Hygiene in 2010 from Daytona State College. Understanding that many are apprehensive about going to the dentist, Jackie's goal is for all of her patients to have a positive experience.
Jackie is a true Floridian, born and raised here in the Sunshine State. When she is not cleaning your teeth she is volunteering, hanging out with her 10 nephews or traveling.
Catherine was born in Saudi Arabia and lived there until the age of 13 when she moved to Maine. She went on to complete her Bachelors degrees in Biology and Dental Hygiene at the University of New Hampshire and Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene respectively. She continues to spend significant time reviewing the latest research and updates in the field to ensure the best care for her patients. She places emphasis on understanding the impact oral health can have on our general health and well-being.
She was very happy to fulfill her dream of moving back to warm weather when she relocated to Florida in 2017. She loves the beach, fishing with her husband and is an animal lover.
Her passion is everything horse-related and currently owns an adopted ex-racehorse, a 20 year old Thoroughbred named Blazar. When not at work, you can be sure to find her at the barn doting on him and ensuring he gets his fill of carrots.
Catherine will ensure all our patients feel that their experience at Premier Dentistry is one of building relationships through a gentle and thorough approach to patient care.
